2013 Executive

Director – Joe Giesinger

Joe.jpg

I have two great bikes, a cruiser and a touring. My cruiser is a hopped up 2006 Dyna® Street Bob®. My second is a 2004 Electra Glide® Standard® that I pretty well have converted into an Ultra Classic® clone. I have been riding since I was 17 and for most of those years I owned metric bikes. I was into hot rods and custom cars most of my life and had to settle on the cheaper bikes. I rode a lot of Harleys but unfortunately they were my friends and relatives. My dad and my uncles rode Harleys before I was born so I must have inherited some Harley® blood. I have plans someday to build an “old school” chopper with the extra parts I have been collecting over the years. With any luck maybe I will be able to talk my neighbor out of that ’45 he has in boxes in his garage. Presently I am working on custom cargo trailers. I know you can buy them. I just like the challenge and seeing what I have built with my own my hands. Plans this summer are to load my clubs in my new trailer and ride to the Prairie Regional Rally, Sturgis and then take a run out to invade my sister’s new house on Vancouver Island.

Assistant Director – Kim Davis

Assistant Director

My wife Barbara and I have two adult children, Sara (Luke) and Russell.  We are currently eagerly awaiting grandchildren; however it appears that it will be a couple of years before they arrive.  I grew up in the trucking industry and I am a journeyman mechanic.  I work as an independent insurance adjuster for a large national firm, Granite Claims Solutions.  I ride a black (I am not sure why they make any other colors), 2009 Street Glide.  I have attended the Sturgis Rally for the last six years in a row and I hope to enjoy many more years of road trips.  I believe that 2013 is going to be a great year for riding, come on out and support your Chapter!

My name is Carolyne Sax and I started riding in 2008. Riding for me is not only a mode of transportation but it has become a passion of mine. I previously owned an orange and black ‘09 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® Nightster® XL1200N which I had affectionately named George (after the one and only Clooney!). Recently I purchased a beautiful Ember Red Sunglo 2012 Softail® Deluxe (still unnamed) and can't wait for all the long road trips 2013 has to offer. Just a little bit about me, I am married to a wonderful, supportive man named Jeff and I work at SaskTel.

I recently took over the Membership Officer position. I would like to thank Ellen Bumphrey for the many years of hard work in the position and for her continued support. I look forward to all the new and exciting challenges that come with Memberships and I hope to make the Regina H.O.G.® experience the best that it can be. I would also like to welcome Kim Davis with his appointment to the position of Assistant Director. I think that Kim will do a fantastic job!

I’m looking forward to meeting and riding with all of you. Cheers!

Safety Officer – Henry Dobrowolski

I’ve been a member of H.O.G® since the nineties. I’m just an average person who likes to ride.

Road Captain – Gary Mack

Gary copy.jpg

Hello everyone my name is Gary Mack and I will be the Road Captain for the H.O.G.® group this year.  I hope the ride schedule I have made up will be both fun and enjoyable for all who can attend.
I am married and have 2 children a girl and boy who both ride as well.  I have been riding off and on for pretty close to 45 years and have enjoyed every minute that I’m on the bike.  I own a 1987 10th anniversary FXR Low Rider® which is a lot of fun to ride and have just purchased a 2011 Ultra Classic®.  I live in Regina and have recently retired from driving a transport truck for 39 years and am now working for Auto Electric as a parts delivery driver and am enjoying this as well as it will allow me more time on the 2 wheeler.
So if you are a past or present H.O.G.® member come out to weekly Thursday night rides and have some fun, I look forward to meeting all of you.

I am looking forward to all the upcoming rides with the many motorcycling enthusiasts and friends my husband (Darcy) and I have met over the years since joining H.O.G.®

Ladies of Harley® - Terry Brewer

I have only had the "M" endorsment on my liscence a short time. Most of my riding experience was on dirt and trail bikes and before 3 children.
Sometimes I miss the off road riding, then remind myself my body is not as resilient as it used to be and all roads lead somewhere.
